The Birds and the Bees

The Birds and the Bees - Dean Martin

Think I searched for the birds and bees hoping to come across an actual story involving actual birds and bees and sex education. This is what I found. I have a memory of someone telling me they had been told about the birds and bees. I thought it was an actual story.

Dead Letter Circus The Burning Number

Dead Letter Circus - The Burning Number

I made this whole post below and then realised that I had already added this song months ago. I didn't know about the scripture then though. I guess now after a few more listens it can finally be added to Music category. Anyway this was a new comment original post starts NOW:

Dead Letter Circus.

I like this song because it reminds me of a scripture.

The scripture for the day is:

Isaiah 58:12
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

I also have a memory to go with this scripture.

Great Wall of China Breach.
In kindergarten, when I must of been 4 years old I was exploring what I thought were powers or something. Anyway my first level one power was wall building, the thing was I was told that most people abandoned there level one powers because they were no use.

With my thinking a highest level wall was able to defend against a great army of level one attacks before the wall would crumble, if the wall was manned it was impenetrable. I have an image of immediately applying my hand to the wall and filling in a breach. The longer your hand was on there the stronger the wall became. You had to be at the breach they were attacking because their were multiple breaches.

Eventually the walls reach maximum strength and you could swap out with an attacker and work on then developing your second level attack power. The attacker gained knowledge of walls by holding the breach when a wall was at maximum strength. With an attacker manning the wall at full strength it would eventually lose strength and they would need to be swapped out with me again but then the attacker would then have the ability to build walls themselves. Eventually with enough swaps both the wall and attack power would be as strong as each other on both people.

I think also that there were maybe one maybe two more levels of power. Like a 3rd and 4th level. It could've been infinite knowing god. I can do all things. In somethings you start weak.

I like to think of myself as a repairer of the breach from this memory. Whether anybody will ever use this title on another is yet to be seen.

Added Label "Isaiah".

The Monkees.
The Monkees - I'm a Believer

Found myself searching for this last year some time a few days ago. Used to watch the Monkees as a kid. They were awesome. Not something i'd probably watch again though. Adding to music 3 and memory.

Monkees - Daydream Believer

Added this in an edit because I found the tab open.

Circle In The Sand Belinda Carlisle

Belinda Carlisle.
Circle In The Sand - Belinda Carlisle.

I have memories of this. I listened to it in 1992 when I got a new stereo and FM radio was pretty much all I had. They used to play this heaps. Apparently it came out alot earlier than 1992. So NZ music was way behind because they played this like a new song.

I was very much music retarded growing up. As in only really had a radio and a few tapes. Tapes cost like $20 bucks. So much money. I didn't have very many originals. I also needed to humble myself and create mix tapes on the blanks I had as I had a few blanks.

Now after a quick search i'm going to add another Belinda song.

Belinda Carlisle - Heaven Is A Place On Earth

Adding to music 2 because of this song. If it was just circle then it would be music 3.

Seven Nation Army The White Stripes

Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes
The White Stripes.

I think there is enough here to add to Music 2. I have heard this through the years and have always enjoyed it. Remember watching it on TV while in hospital and a nurse asking who Sung it which I actually happened to know. I think if I'd told him the name of the song as well then he would've had more interaction with it in the future. Or was that he asked me the name of the song and if I had told him who sung it as well. Anyway I only gave him half what he needed. I guess I can call that a fail.

I have lots of fails in life.

Owell.

Added Labels "Hospital" and "Medicine".

Malachi 3 Jewels

Malachi 3:17.
Malachi 3.

There isn't anymore information on this song. It only has 57 views as of this posting. I'm actually adding it to Music 2 because I have got quite a few views and listens out of it.

I've been in Malachi about a week ago. I had experience of the scripture and looking it up is where I found this Jewel.

I like the translation better where it says Malachi 3:17 and they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them.

I have this memory of being at Wai College (Pronounced War Col) and thinking that one day I would make up my jewels and that they would be perfect I and would have all that I needed. There were like sockets on the body for jewels which enhanced your power. Other people were Jewels. You could refine and cut them until they became perfect. I think it was their word that was a jewel.

I remember a little more but I won't write it down pretty much because it's so fuzzy. I was basically leveling my gems and cutting them to perfection before the day when they would all be placed in their final sockets to be there for ever never to be moved again and they were to be perfect. Totally Crazy. But that's what being mind controlled as a kid gets you.

ANyway. Check this song out.

Added Label "Malachi". I'm going to add all the scripture books to labels over times as I post more scriptures.

Radiohead Just You Do It To Yourself

Radiohead.
Radiohead - Just (You Do It To Yourself)

Adding this to Music 3 because I didn't listen to it but I started singing it and looked it up. I don't really like Radiohead very much for some reason.

I remember watching the song Everybody Hurts by this band when it first came out on New Zealand TV. Back then before internet there wasn't much ways to get new music and TV played a huge part in introducing new music to me. And actually now my Alzheimers shows through. It was R.E.M that sings Everybody Hurts.

A song I do have memories of of Radiohead is Creep that I recognised when I looked up Radiohead. This is the very first song I know myself of listening to Radiohead. I must say it's a bit of a downer song now. It was on some mix compilation. It was quite good at the time.

I decided to embed Creep. It's below. It's an old song from my youth. I would've been like 15 listening to this. Check it out only if your super bored and recognize it yourself. But other than that this is Music 3.

Papa Roach Last Resort

Papa Roach - Last Resort

Used to enjoy this back in the day. Listened to it a few time recently so it deserves a mention. I could almost class this song as one of mine if it wasn't dated earlier than 2001. I either copied it or it copied me anyway. Probably the first one in this case. Thing is I did ask for them to date some of the songs as coming out earlier than 2001 and i'm pretty sure they have. Butterfly from Crazytown is one of them but I could be wrong about that also, like I said, I did ask for them to backdate some of the songs theyer were to create. Can never be sure.
Papa Roach.

No one will ever know every song I feature in but some are more obviously not mine than others and I have just copied their lyrics. Like The Whos Behind Blue Eyes.

But some have me fooled even.

I couldn't even tell you.

Stabbing Westward vs Wink Torn Apart

Stabbing Westward vs. Wink - Torn Apart

All I can say is wait till he sings... "These words have torn my world apart". I really like the chorus anyway.
Stabbing Westward.

I actually got on to this by going through some of the songs on the spawn album. That's where this is from. I'm going to add a Marilyn Manson song from that album as well.

THESE WORDS HAVE TORN MY WORLD APART.

Adding this to Music. This will be the 200th song in Music and the 286th in total. This chorus I love and it's also an old song I used to listen to so it goes in memories as well.

Filter & the Crystal Method Cant You Trip Like I Do

Filter- Take a Picture

Filter - Hey Man Nice Shot

Filter
Filter & the Crystal Method Cant You Trip Like I Do

Now the bottom two songs I remember the top one not so much. I remember Trip Like You Do From the Album "Spawn". That was a great album and my brother inherited it from me once I was sick of it as I had it on CD.

Hey Man Nice Shot I remember somehow. I think I used to have it. Or i have listened to it before. Most of these songs date from about 1999 or earlier.

The top song is slow but still ok. The bottom two songs are alot more rocky.

Tenacious D Master Exploder.

Tenacious D Master Exploder.

I went from listening to You Move To This Phenomenon to Tribute to trying a few other Tenacious D songs. This was the first one I tried and I liked it immediately. I'm adding it. I'm on the 3rd play now. I'm definitely going to get more plays out of it though. The video is also quite humorous.

Tenacious D
As for personal life i've injured my back after sitting in a chair for like 27 hours playing World of Warcraft. I felt it when I first sat down that I was loading all my weight onto a disc and kinda locking out a little. If I had a better more padded chair I would be ok. The chair I have although the best i've ever had is still lacking in any padding. It doesn't really have any cushion to soften it for you. It has a little but not enough for there really to be any movement.

I have to be more careful. The pain is terrible in certain positions. I can barely move. I like a little old hunched up lady. Getting up and sitting down is terrible.

Anyone want to buy a poor person a chair? Or buy me anything? I'm poor my wages never change. You buying me something anything will add to my overall total. Perhaps you could just donate cash and let me spend it on what ever. That could be cool. No ones ever donated before. But saying that after nearly 8 years I am actually about to be paid out in Google Adsense. The payout limit is $130 NZ dollars. I'm hoping to buy a 2TB External HDD as my internal 1.5TB is nearly full.  It should take me about 1-3 more months to make the last $1.25. Hopefully I can get a 2TB without spending the money on something else.

Another thing but I recently got a new monitor. It's the same size (22") and Resolution (1680x1050) as my old one but it has a faster refresh rate. I've also managed in my wheelings and dealings to pay for a new 24" full HD (1920x1080). It's going to take about a month to arrive though. I will have dual monitors a 22" and 24". At the moment i'm using a 22" and 19".

I recently just ticked over 1 million gold across all my characters in World of Warcraft. Mostly trading in pets from server to server.

I thought I would get this post in before midnight and the end of the month but I didn't quite make it. I got distracted, so now it's going on the first of the month. September. Only 11 days till 9/11 anniversary.

Another thing. I recently had an uncle die as well. Uncle Peter. I knew him from the ages of about 5-17 or so. His kidneys had failed a while ago and he was on dialysis. I didn't see much of him in later life but it's still sad to hear of his passing. I don't see much of the cousins these days. I do have one memory of him selling me some shoes as a kid. He lived and owned a shoe shop in Carterton for a while. I'm pretty sure I have the right uncle.

Marc Cohen Walking In Memphis

Marc Cohn - Walking In Memphis.

This was a favourite back in the day when I was like 14 or so, so adding it cause I used to like it, not cause I listened to it now.

Marc Cohn.
Adding for memories. I used to love the line "Are you a Christian" and he'd reply "Maam I am tonight". Used to love that part. I often identified as a Christian though kept somewhat secret about it. I practiced Christianity growing up. But it has failed now as you can read from my last post.

The Beach Boys Help Me Rhonda

The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda

I knew a chick from school who was called Rhonda. I recently met up with her again after about 10
years or so. Quite a long time anyway.
The Beach Boys

I also remember the program ALF and his girlfriend was called Rhonda. This song played when she came to pick ALF up but he decided to stay with the tanners. I have sung this song on and off occasionally. Didn't actually know The Beach Boys sung it till I looked it up. Adding it not because I like it so much but because it's just something i've always said.
